MIST by ProQares
ProQares has extensive experience with MIST. We use a rigorously validated method and work with carefully selected test subjects of varying body dimensions. This approach provides an accurate assessment of the protection level and identifies any weak spots in the tested ensemble. The MIST is conducted as follows:
- Test Conditions: We determine the test conditions in consultation with the client, using either a standard protocol like NATO AEP-38 or a tailor-made protocol.
- Subject Selection: Based on the system to be tested, we select the most suitable test subjects.
- Testing Process: Sensors are attached to the test subjects’ bodies, which are then covered by the protective clothing. In our test chamber, the subjects are exposed to a specific concentration of a non-toxic simulant (methyl salicylate) while performing routine movements and exercises. The sensors record the amount of simulant each body part is exposed to.
- Data Analysis: We analyse the collected data and compile it into a comprehensive test report.
